LeT, JeM determined to attack India: Chidambaram
NEW DELHI: Indian Interior Minister, Chidambaram has said that the greatest security challenge facing India was from across the border terrorism.
Addressing a gathering here, Chidambaram said that Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) were determined to attack India and the country’s security was faced with a strong challenge. He said that terrorism in northeast states would not be tolerated.
Chidambaram said that LeT and other groups have the local support. He said we should learn from the past mistakes. Warning the terrorists, Chidambaram asked the terrorists to lay down arms and enter into dialogues with the government.
